Biomass Management
The future of sustainable biochar production
Biomass is a renewable organic material that primarily comes from plants, including trees downed by age or natural disasters, such as wildfires. Over time, as those trees become diseased or start to decay, they release all the carbon that they sequestered in their lifetime. This carbon goes back into the atmosphere. Carbon United’s state of the art mobile gasification reactor (CUGR) turns biomass into carbon-negative biochar, converting CO2 into hard carbon by burning it in an oxygen free chamber.
How It Works: Carbon Negative Biochar Sequestration with CUGR
Carbon Neutral
Wind & Solar
A balance between emitting carbon and absorbing carbon from the atmosphere
Carbon Reduction
Biomass with Biochar Sequestration
Capturing and storing carbon dioxide (CO2) from the atmosphere using biochar to produce carbon and other carbon producers (cars, planes, etc.)
Carbon Increase
Coal, Gas & Oil
Producing more carbon emissions than absorbing or sequestering
